Make breakfast for the Mr.
After you take a shower
Then wake the kids up
Within the hour

A kiss on each cheek
And a wave goodbye
Then a voice calls from inside,
“Honey, I need help with my tie!”

Set off to work
There’s no time to lose.
Route A or B?
There’s no time to choose.

Done with the day,
Leave work on the dot.
Come home to sulky faces…
You know the kids have fought.

Listen to one
And comfort another.
“Now be nice you…
..he’s only your little brother.”

A lavish dinner is prepared.
But your husband is late.
The kids gobble away…
But you know you’ll wait.

You each share your days
Once the kids are fast asleep,
Then he surprises you with an interruption
With an offer to rub your feet

You look into his thoughtful gaze,
A new appreciation is given birth.
Instantly you know what you have,
A man who knows your worth.
